Thanks for such a great lesson.

Thank you.

you have an interesting quality to your voice,(not sure what it reminds me of. hmm...) what is the purpose of putting a capo on the 2nd fret if you also tune down one full step, doesn't one negate the other? aren't we right back to where we started? in other words, doesn't the capo bring it back up the full step that you just tuned down to?

I see you as one of the BEST grandfathers on earth.

@goldhat3 The Big Great one?

Thanks very much for doing this lesson. Always liked Gordon Lightfoot, especially his song dedicated to the men of the Edmund Fitzgerald. That looks like a Tak G 12. I had one--really brutal on the fingers. Double truss rods and could not get the action set properly, great sound though! I could never part ways with my Martin, she's my baby! Thanks again!

Great quick lesson. Thank you very much.

Great lesson as always! Thanks. If you have the time it would be nice if you could teach us a Gordon Lightfoot fingerpicking song. I love those songs. Keep up the good work!

so when I tune my guitar to play this song, is it still EADGBE?

Yep, standard tuning needs no capo.
