  • Let me respond further to the being gay is supposedly wrong because the purpose of sex is natural reproduction argument. Natural doesn't equal moral, as gay opponents have said. Thus, one could argue planned pregnancy is more favourable than unplanned. Every pregnancy a gay person is involved in, is planned. Straight pregnancies are sometimes, unplanned, unprepared for, "accidents". Will the parents and the community have the capacities necessary, especially in an overpopulated world?

  • @wuzzupl You're welcome! Feel free to ask if you have any questions, and I'll answer as best I can.

  • @TheProvocative9 thanks for info! i never thought about it that way.

  • @wuzzupl Marriage itself is not natural. Most animals don't even attempt the monogamy that marriage represents. Humans are odd that way. Gay people and animals who engage in same-sex sex acts have always existed. Where did it come from if not nature? No, we don't always do everything in nature. Birth control is something humans find very useful because reproduction as natural as it is, is not always a good thing. What we do with life counts more as humans.

  • @callydias i thought that gay acts are unnatural, but i do accept gay marriage.

  • @dexterxyz how about passing a law to ban antigravity just in case? that'll show superman not to mess with the GOP!!

  • Further, natural laws don't need humans to defend them. Think of the law of gravity. It exists, is observed, and can't be changed. Thus, if there were a natural law against same-sex relations, these relations wouldn't exist, there would be no need to argue against them, nor to defend against them.

  • @phatso1986 No, you need to understand the difference between objective reality and the subjective. Objective reality involves everything we can observe with our senses. Since we can observe same-sex sexual behaviour, it's objective. Nature does many things. What you are talking about is a subjective moral code made by humans. We made this moral code, thus if we want to change it to accept same-sex couples as morally right, we may do that. More to come...

  • @phatso1986 Now here comes the usual laundry list of diversions from the topic at hand. We could go on forever with that. Let's focus. Tell me why two parents of the same sex, having sex in the privacy of their own bedrooms is wrong, or how will this specifically, negatively affect their kids.
