The long awaited Youth Leaders Summit for Peace and Development 2009 manifest its fulfillments at March 21, 2009, 9.00 , Chisinau, Moldova, Leogrand Convention Center, str. Vlaicu Pircalab, 69
With its Motto: "Living for the sake of others" - the only solution to solve modern problems and sustainable development, summit was attended by 340 participants: the leaders in all spheres of life, youth leaders from Moldova and abroad: the candidates for the position of deputies, deputies, representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and Local administration, business people and successful entrepreneurs, researchers, prominent figures in the young social service, religion, culture, sports, art, NGOs and civil society, the sons and daughters of leaders who bring a positive change and transformation.
Organizers where Partners of the Global Peace Festival in Moldova: Association philanthropic IRFF-ONLUS, the Moldovan branch of the International Foundation for Education of America, International Association for the Education of the R.Moldova and 20 other partners of the Global Peace Festival 2009.
Topics for breakout sections of the summit was :
-Globalization, regional integration and emigration of young intellectuals
-National development and the role of youth in achieving UN millennium Development Goals
The event was good opportunity to:
- establish new contacts, exchange views and experiences with leaders from various fields;
- stimulating initiatives and youth participation in social life and economic development;
- presentation of innovative solutions to current problems of education for peace and development. "Youth Leaders Summit for Peace and Development in 2009" was first step of the activities of the Global Peace Festival 2009 in Moldova, as an event that promotes the vision of "Humanity is one family under God", by developing programs that: educate and grow marriages and strong families; Facilitates international and interreligious harmony, peace and support the culture of civic service. In the discussions that which take place in sections and working groups, participants formulate proposals to be submitted to decision-makers and develop joint action plans.

09:00. plenary session. "A Vision for Peace: Humanity is one family".
10:30. Coffee Break.
11:00 Session II: Working in sections, the presentation of communications.
12:30 Closing Session: Launch of new initiatives. Awards "Young peace Ambassador!"
