The Academy is a competitive race league exclusively for drivers aged between 8 - 16 years of age.

The Academy has already produced many drivers who advanced in the world of Motorsport, with some of them being very successful, not just in Britain but across the whole of Europe. Visit Luciano Bacheta's website an up and coming former driver of our Cadet Academy.

A with a few being crowned champion within their formulas the academy is a proven start point for any driver.

The Cadet Academy racing seasons consists of 12 competitive weeks of racing in which drivers battle head to head against one another, Each race meeting will see the drivers take part in a 10 minute practice session followed by three 10 minute races for each driver. Grid positions for each race will be the fairest way possible ensuring all drivers will have to work as hard as each other by passing the same amount of drivers if they want the all important race win. Then only after the 12 racing weeks will we see who is crowned Brentwood Karting Champion.

Drivers will be racing against other drivers in equal karts designed exclusively for our 850m track therefore there is two race categories Cadets and Seniors. The winners from each race category will be presented with a large trophy to show off their achievement. Driver positions are updated weekly within the championship table.
All of this can been seen on our specially designed academy webpage click here to view or in our reception area.

A race report for each week can be found on the website accompanied with pictures, perfect for the budding Lewis Hamilton!
