They suck too, but the main reason those are popular is the hive-mind personality of the average pooper. You can't get any views if you don't put up something well-known unless you are a legendary pooper, and in that case anything you put up gets popular, even if it's not really a poop.

what about i.m. meen, the cutscenes in that game aren't nearly as bad as the zelda and mario cutscenes. but it's STILL an extremely popular source
