  • how does it compare to the audi s5?

  • @bbblahoo7 - We recommend you watch our S5 review as well, if you haven't already. But, in short: The Evo handles much better and has a far more hardcore and involving feel than the S5. The EVO is a canyon carver and track car. The S5 has a much better interior and would be a better choice for any kind of long-distance driving. The Evo has more room for passengers. The S5 has more trunk space. Both get pretty disappointing mileage. Todd would pick Evo every time. Paul would pick S5.

  • Is there a 6th gear on any of the models? I'm actually looking for a first vehicle and I do like this, as well as the GT-R and maybe a BMW M3.

  • @thevlogstyle - The MR version, with the Paddle shift transmission is a six-speed, and the upper gear definitely helps highway cruising. The Stick shift is only available as a 5-speed.

The EVO, M3, & GTR are all fantastic cars, but we wouldn't recommend any of them as a first car. Besides being a lot to handle they are wildly expensive to insure for anyone under 25.

  • iv been in one of these and i just hate the interior. i much rather prefer the WRX STi

  • @HarmonicCorruption i have a honda civic and i liked it....

  • As an owner may be I can answer a few questions. I have an 08 gsr and it's been super reliable/the most fun car I've driven. As far as upkeep goes, stock tires cost nearly $400 each and are great for track, awful in snow. You will need to replace the clutch after an average of about 30k miles depending on how it's driven and you will need a clutch master cylinder replacement when you Change said clutch. Other then that it's bulletproof, and it takes to mods just as well if not better then IX's.

  • It's somewhat slower then IX's stock due to a 200 pound increase but is the same speed as the 8's. The 5 gear tranny on the highway doesn't bother me to much because it's always ready to go fast, if you floor it in fith at 50mph there is less lag then if you floored it in 6th at 50mph that's why Mitsu made it that way think of it as a cat with its back hunched up ready to pounce at anytime on the unsuspecting mouse in the corner.

  • Also "edd" I disagree with one thing you wrote, the Sti is not easier to launch because it doesn't have a "two step" from the factory Like the Evo. All you do is hold in the clutch while in first, while flooring the gas then slip off the clutch and your off like a rocket. Also ams and ets far outway Vishnu as tuners, ams and ets have 800+awp Evo x's look up Ryan gates as well. Hope that helped

  • I have that wing...i like that wing

  • @HarmonicCorruption I disliked it because I thought it wasn't a very good review. Who the fuck calls an Evo boring?

  • the interior is a little mediocre but the car works a dream it seems

  • damn mitsubishi for not making a 6 speed manual, i drive high way a lot, so 5 speed is out of the question, and i'm not getting a paddle shifter, so no option for me bu the fugly Sti =(

  • I absolutely love the jokes from these 2 presenters lol !
