  • @Nomadz6 This is our exterior dog. Look our chanel for more videos.

  • How old a gsd to be train like that and how many weeks to train a gsd guard dog?

  • @amigaz It's never too late to start training....and it is a continuous process. Basic training is about one month.

  • Very good job in training this beautiful dog--thanks for sharing it :)

  • @MalinoisPoliceDogs im going to be doing this for a living in 18 months XD

  • @Trenaur Let me try and clear that up for you. The stick is nothing more than a distracting agent...to get the dog used to biting and holding on, and keep holding on. Nothing will distract him. As far as attacking an arm.....I have seen macho people say, "well, that is just a sleeve, if a dog attacked me I would punch him out, or disable him"...hahahaha...WRONG!!! I have seen people go into shock after seeing their bones sticking out, and flesh stripped from their arms..Not pretty.

  • what is he doing with the stick

  • best dogs around!!!!

  • @AgilityBeagle Thanks, yeah to me this just seems like a game to the dog. That was why I wanted to ask though because I really didn't know. Seems silly to me to do this type of training...but what do I know :)

  • @Trenaur I compete in Schutzhund with mine at the National level, and just thought I'd answer your question. It depends on the method you use. If the dog is trained with prey (like this dog and helper are doing) then it's a game for the dog and without the sleeve, the dog probably won't bite. If you train it using aggression, like mine does, the dog really "gets" the concept, and will probably bite, even without the sleeve. Hope this helps!

  • @artsmith1972 because the attacker could hit the dog with a weapon

  • I'm curious why they are trained to go high for the arm...? It seems to put the dog in more jeopardy, of being hit/stabbed. Wondering why they arent trained to go low after the legs- that would knock the target down as well...
