2/24/2009 - Jane and Roman fighting corruption - Dekalb County Board of Commissioners Meeting

To: Board of Commissioners of Dekalb County, GA

Atlanta Georgetown Condominium Association is running under directions of 3 licensed Property Managers ( president is Gary Furbish, president of Parkside Management Company Celia Ebert and onsite Manager Reginald Utt) and 4 BOD.
They constantly using Contractors who are working without Business License, does not obtain permits and inspections from county working in very unsafe manner, which in my strong opinion is against the Laws. For example: They hired Gray Contracting Company to fix the roof on the forth floor of the building. This contractor several years does not have Business license. Also they hired Keller Waterproofing and Foundation Specialists to do big jobs and spent about $40,000 on one building and per statement of onsite manager Reginald Utt should spend about $100,000 on another for the same project. Keller and Engineer Marc Sorenson worked without signed written contracts constantly do not obtain permits and inspections from County. They violated Georgia Dig Law which required locating all underground utilities before digging with heavy equipment. This is a free service in Dekalb County, but the Association, Management and the Contractors did not care about the Laws. The County should impose very high fines for not obtaining permits and inspections from County and it should be a Company to control the Companies and punish the violators.

Keller using heavy equipment basted two times the major water pipe. The fountain was 10 feet high. 5 hours the contractor did not know were to turn off the water and ruined two basement units, brick fence in many places and gutters. No protection fences were places in the multifamily complex. Nobody takes responsibility for all that. The Association is hiding the financial documents. The Minutes does not even mention the money spent, which is illegal .Those actions in our strong opinion are criminal and are against County Law, County money, safety of the people, against the Association and against owners financial personal investments.

Code Enforcement of Dekalb County, Dekalb Police , the GA Insurance Commissioners Office and some Judges are covering up the violators. Reginald Utt openly said what he has connections in the Police and the facts proof his statement.




Thanks CEO Mr. Ellis he fired the Chef of Dekalb Police. As Barrack Obama said: PUT DOWN THE CORRUPTION. I hope that this is the beginning of putting down the Corruption in our County
Who is the top of this pyramid? This is the job of Commisioners, FBI and District Attorneys Office.
