This is a video I've made because our family needs help spreading the word about mental health treatment. It should be available to all...not just if you have the money to pay for it. He sits in the juvenile detention facility because he came after me...he's said he's going crazy. This was done to him in an orphanage. Please help me spread the word about the impact of reactive attachment disorder and post traumatic stress disorder on children of trauma and the families that love them.

  • This video is actually just over 3 minutes long. I'm just not tech savvy enough to edit that. Saw my son last night for the fifteen minutes contact visit three times per week allowed. Sucks to leave him when he's sobbing but he has to be safe. He was choked by a substitute staff member at the state hospital kid's unit so sending him there is not an option. Please forward this video to anyone you think would also forward it. One virus I'd like to see.

  • @ghsayhaghragha1 you're a meat stick. I don't care if you were kidding or not. Only DB's say things like that.

  • "20 things your child wished you knew" pray

  • is the department of social services not able to help? i work in a group home and often the children are voluntarily placed with dss who then funds their stay at residential treatment centers and group homes. however, it is all too often that these children hurt others and end up incarcerated, not receiving the treatment they need. your son is precious... i'm sorry what what you've been through.

  • Nancy Thomas--parent of Beth Thomas--former "child of rage" (you can find it on youtube) is an expert in this area. just went to a conference and was inspired. Please look her up or find her information if you have a child with RAD or PTSD who is struggling like this child.

  • @jerigee Hi, can you send me two photos for our blog? One of you and your son and one of him in the field of flowers? Toni

  • Thank you for sharing your son. There are so many families in this situation. We love our kids, but there is no way to get help for them at the extreme cost. I wish states would recognize that we love our kids and will stand by them, but we need help. Your son is beautiful.
