Sacrifice - ALL PERSEPHONE, Mission 1

So I was a little bored and kinda sick (I have a sore throat or something going on right now, it's mean, but doesn't affect my voice). Between writing Dragonheart and everything else going on in my life, I was getting a little bored of having no games to play while I prepared for my next challenge.

Then I was going through things and found Sacrifice...and I figured, out of boredom, I'd show you the first mission of the game. It can be a bit strange to watch this game, so I decided to add commentary as I played. If you guys are interested, I could make the All-Persephone game my next series...then we can do what I was planning.

What's the best god to worship for a beginner?

Actually you just approached the biggest issue with Sacrifice...it's learning curve is preposterous. No matter what you pick, you're going to have a rough time at some point.

That being said, I think James has the best level 1 units. Gargoyles have a nice spread, Rockflings have a neat ability, and Troggs are IMMUNE TO MAGIC DAMAGE.

If you get into it, find the patches and such, just message me up and we could play.

This game has been kicking my ass right and proper many times when I've tried to play it, then I stumbled upon something. Defense at the beginning is CRUCIAL. ALWAYS focus fire on the wizard, then as they're retreating, kill one or two of his creatures and convert the souls. A wizard with no souls is one that can't really stop you. Cue evil laugh.

@Angelslayer007 Don't pick Stratos, his units are weak, but fast. James' units are tough, powerful, and slow. Persephone's units have special abilities, she is a good god to choose to get a feel for the game. Pyro has hard hitting dudes, he is probably the best to choose. Charnel is a bad god to choose for a beginner because his dudes are pretty weak. Charnel is good for an experienced player (after you finished another god) because his spells are awesome. Combine gods to get diff. stuff.

Correction: Blue souls are souls that come from creatures summoned from your particular god. All players of your faith can pick them up. Red souls are souls from other gods. All players from that particular faith can pick them up.

I may be wrong there as maybe blue souls are only for you even if there are other players, but I don't think so.

@LordDespiro It is an excellent game with superb ratings, I think a lot of people like it. Problem is that most people grew up with call of duty and are blind to good games like this. In fact, every time I asked someone about this game, their response was, "Never heard of it."

This is one of the games I actually grew up playing so I'm with you. This game, Max Payne, Warcraft III, Quake 3, and Zelda:Oot was what it was all about.
