The montage that ended Season 3 of "The Wire". The background song is "Fast Train" by Solomon Burke

  • I dare anyone to say that they can't relate to any one of these characters. Sure, The Wire is set in Baltimore, but in the end, all these people are universal. This shit is happening all over the world. Fucking genius.

  • I know I'm not the only one who finds the part with Avon looking back strangely the saddest part of this montage. Especially knowing that the fact that is he has no one left to support him was all because of his actions. And weirdly, it seems like the closest person (or at least the only person who will make eye contact) to Avon at this point is Marlo, his former enemy.

  • @DreadfulControversy fast train

  • 3:14

McNulty becoming the kind of Police the Community leaders were asking for earlier in the series, another nice little touch.

    2:24

Herc's look of indifference is marvellous, he knows he can't do anything.Maybe that was partially what made him go to Levy in the end

    0:25/0:42

Collicio/Herc showing the bad side of Policing and Mculty laughing at the incompetence and ignorance of the leadership 'Showing the next generation how NOT to do the Job' in the words of Colvin

    All the pieces matter

  • What song is this!?

  • Postmortem in that picture Stringer is always cool.

  • Best season (my opinion)

  • Maybe breaking bad is a exceptional series but this is a very, very good series. For me, the fourth is the best season when you see the fight agaist bad and good. No only on drugs, in the political sistem too. The most complex scripst are here.

  • The montage for each season focuses on the specifics that happened in each season and tries to wrap them up. Yet in every montage there is a segment where it shows the corner boys standing on the corners and selling, same as it ever was. The point here is that no matter what happens in each season, the game is still the game and it moves on regardless, ain't nothing changed at the end of the day.

  • Lol it's hilarious that after each person Ronnie names, theres always an "aka".

  • R.I.P. HAMSTERDAM!!!!!!!

  • @SGB102288 Then the next question is why is he the greatest tragedy, i think the Sobotka story or Dukies metamorphosis is stories that is more touching than Bodie walking aroung in his area and looks like pippi longstocking (that bandana he has in S02/03).
