@owen82100 But we are not talking about real life. We are talking about C&C Generals. At least I am anyway. This is the way the story played out. USA gets beaten back by the GLA after killing Dr.Thrax, and then China comes back to finally kill off the GLA who even had taken USA weapons that were abandoned in Europe. When the had defeated the GLA, they held a more global influence and so created the Eurasian Unity League which will be a faction in Generals 2.

@owen82100 I would call being beaten back into their own borders a defeat. As they lost their influence on Europe and most of the world and until China took action, the GLA was dominant. The point is the USA had to rethink their global strategy against a foe that had been able to take over their greatest weapon, one that could of wiped off those other US Carriers no sweat. Sure the GLA didn't continue against the USA, but they probably could have using guerrilla tactics. The EU wasn't a faction.

@ZowolfX It still wasn't defeated, 1 US Carrier to 11 US Carriers. It was just drove out of Europe, nothing defeating there when the European Union exists and is stronger then the USA when all together.

@owen82100 Yes it was. The GLA campaign in Zero Hour was about pushing the USA out of Europe. They attacked USA cities, destroyed a USA Carrier with their own Super weapon. And defeated their main military base in Europe. This drove the USA out and made them want to concentrate on Homeland Security because the GLA had been successful in attacking them not only in Europe but on their own country. China's campaign then started and they defeated the GLA and became the Eurasian Unity League.

@ZowolfX The USA wasn't defeated, it won against the GLA twice, it was only weakened and resources where exhausted so they went back to work on Homeland Security.
