Resident Evil Outbreak File 3 isn't so far away. Please read the whole description.

Resident Evil Outbreak File 1 and 2 were cut from their servers in 2007, stopping all online play. This was a very big let down, causing many fans to get upset and lose intrest.

But there is hope! Lots and lots of it!

Thosands upon thousands of fans are letting CAPCOM here their voices, and CAPCOM is starting to listen.

Back when Outbreak was introduced in the USA (2004) it was recieved very well, but started to die down in popularity as the years went on. File #2 was relased shorly after, but it wasn't enough to have CAPCOM keep the online play active. In 2004, barely 30% of all PS2 owners had online support. [getting cable, hooking up LAN, placing monthy cost, buying adapter...etc...], so when thosands played Outbreak online, rather then millions, CAPCOM was turned off, and felt no urge to persue the series farther.

The year now, is 2010.

Nearly 85% of PS3 and Xbox360 owners have online support. And as technology grows even faster, more and more people will connect, and more Resident Evil fans will be born.

Even still with all this information, CAPCOM officials are still not doing anything with this great oppurtunity! With all of the technilogical advances, they could easily reconnect online support, port it to PSN & XBL or just make a sequel!
But they are still lacking somthing, somthing very important, that would really persuade them to do so...

FAN SUPPORT!

They've got fans, but they need to hear them! To understand just how much we want a sequel/port, they need to listen to our opinons and wants!

Just last year, SEGA announced that the video game "Yakuza 3" would never be released in America, and they were very firm with their position. However, the demand was so high, that fans flooded SEGA's inbox and website asking for an American release. And do you know what happened? We got it!!

Outbreak was released more then 7 years ago (2003 in Japan), and it would be much more easy to do any form of business involving a PS2 forman disc and information, since they have such little info on them compared to the PS3 and 360 today. Any effort to revive the series would be just a click (and a few months of patience) away!

So make your voice heard!

Outbreak was always my favorite RE games. I didn't have online when I had a PS2, so I always played alone. All I'm thinking about now is playing it on my PS3, and I'M SO PSYCHED!! There was always something about Outbreak(s) that I loved.

We already showed our support on Capcom Unity but we also need to show it on the japanese Capcom pages. Check the Capcom Unity Japan：カプコン ユニティ ジャパン and バイオハザード(カプコン) pages and post on their wall about your support for a new Biohazard Outbreak game. ^^
