Act.2 Scena 7 No.24 Duetto ''Io t'abbraccio''(Rodelinda, Bertarido)

Io t'abbraccio.
E più che morte, aspro e forte,
è pel cor mio questo addio,
che il tuo sen dal mio divide.

Ah mia vita!
Ah mio tesoro! se non moro,
è più tiranno quell'affanno,
che dà morte, e non uccide.

Bertarido: Daniel Taylor (countertenor)

Conducted Nicholas Kraemer
Raglan Baroque Orchestra

  • Discovered this piece after seeing Lars von Triers "Antichrist"...

    Goosebumps all over my spine!

  • Great Handel performance! Brilliant!

  • Great voices

    I enjoyed very much

Thank you for sharing such a wonderful music!!

  • @mradaChris I'm glad you liked it again:-) Sorry, I missed your comment in the highest rated:-) It's really is a shame that such fantastic countertenor voices as Taylor, Spanos, Lemos, White... are not promoted more. Same here: if I had money I would promote true, great, unique artists so that the world can hear them and develop the finest taste in music. But for now I even don't know how to upload many gems from my CDs with these artists... It's a pity!...

  • @serenaluce I am glad you sent me back here to listen. Both voices are very angelic and it is a shame that Mr. Taylor isn't promoted more. If I had the money I would be managing countertenors and bringing these unique and beautiful voices to world.

  • @whomakemefeel Please do upload this. Suzie Leblanc sang with Taylor when I heard him perform this past spring.

  • i love this! I heard Taylor live this past spring, and was greatly impressed with him. He erally should be as well known as Daniels and Asawa.

  • @serenaluce I i'll see about that.

  • @whomakemefeel Oh please upload as many pieces from this CD as possible. It's not for me as I have it:-) For the others to discover this stunning artist. And especially his version of Cara Sposa which is the best interpretation I've heard so far! Also his Ombra mai fu, which is one of the very best! Do you also have a CD "Best of Daniel Taylor"? Can you upload his brilliant " Strike the viol"? It's just perfect! Please upload for the world his "But who may abide"! It's also the best version!...

  • @serenaluce Well, soon in time I'm free I will upload the CD. of D.Taylor by Händel. It's ''Love Duets'' with Suzie Leblanc.
