Ollie Watts demos the versatility of the world leading practice amp and guitar. The Roland Microcube offers an amazing range of guitar tones at unbeatable quality. When pieced together with the Squier Standard Strat there's no better combination for practice or rehearsal.

  • @pmay222 Well actually, every guitar is good, its just depends on'your taste of guitars, i know a guy who plays a gibson les paul custom, he FOUND his sound, if you would give him a strat he would throw it away cuz its just not his taste of sound and playing.

so even yamaha can rock if YOU think its good!

So a guitar isnt to be judged by others.

if you DO let them judge you, your not a musiscian, your a fake-ass poser!

but anyways this is some good bang for your buck!

  • its BY fender, squier is kinda owned by Fender so fender puts his name on it, but really, getting one of those is just as good as a mexican Fender!

  • @TheUKFool i've looked at hss but i also found the epiphone les paul 100 and i will probably get the

    epiphone thanks any way ;)

  • im looking to get this guitar, but im going to play more rock and punk. is this a good guitar for that? please respond!!!

  • @Dogheadj ...This may be the sound you have been seeking! I love my Squier Standard, it is high quality all the way, really like the AlNiCo V pups. I run through a 1965 Gibson all tube amp , its a wonderfull amp, also I have a Fender Mustang I, what a great amp for $100.00, you can get any sound you want by tweeking the software, no need for pedals with the Mustang...nice talking...poppa

  • I've owned a lot of guitars and amps in my 56 years, looking for "that tone".

I think this player did an excellent job of putting the two together. Who gives a rats' ass if it's a Squire? Close your eyes and listen, instead of scrutinizing the headstock.

I've played every guitar and amp from here to there in my day. Took me all that time to find the right combination. And even then, I'm not so sure of myself.

You without sin, cast the first stone.

    Frigging bunch of jealous wankers.

  • These Squier Standards are a steal and are great guitars. To me, they play and sound better than MIM's.

  • Got me a "black and chrome" Standard Strat out of the pawn shop recently, and really like it, better than my 87 American Strat! I know, it sounds nuts, but I think I got lucky with this one, has nice sound, had to tweak action, but is a nice guitar for modding.

  • @pacrat90 yeah realyy

  • @lockofthedeath

    Not really..

  • @lockofthedeath squier means fender strat made in asia..thats it. I find the build quality on the asian/indo made strats far exceeds the mexis. My $250.00 indo made ibanez blew away my $600.. mexi made custom strat.

  • got squier, got the blues
