I used to live in Salmo in the early 90s, I remember when my exwife was pregers and we had a huge thunderstorm roll through in the summer, the whole house litterally shook! I sure miss living there, but I get to work my first Shambhala festival this year and I am stoked!

I had a worse time with the Rain in '06 than in '08. That year we got a really hard hour or so of rain at around 8 o'clock saturday night, then it cleared off and got really cold. I had to dance that much harder just to say warm.

The thunder and lightening storm followed by the shooting stars made for an awesome night. The sun shone for most days, festivals in Britain are almost always a LOT wetter than this festival was.
