No discussion about angelic visits in human history is worthwhile unless they are compared to those which are preserved in the Biblical narrative. In this video, I inspect and cross-examine the visitation of Jabril and compare the theological fitness of Muhammad's experience in the Cave of Hira. In the end, Muhammad's claims are discredited by the very Scriptures he himself confirmed as guided and delivered by God.
Here are a few things to carefully consider as we think about the visition:
Was Muhammad a Prophet of God? Did he see an angel, a devil, or was he just an ambitious chieftain who saw visions while in the throws of an hysterical seizure? The authenticity of his claims relies on the relentless soteriology of the Bible, and the unyielding truth of God's Revelation found in the interconnected texts of the Old and New Covenants.
As I discuss, Khadija shows a great deal of intelligence and cunning, as preserved in Islamic tradition [Ishaq:82], and even used alcohol when plying her father into accepting the marriage to Muhammad [Tabari 6:49]. I bring this up only to illucidate on the influence Khadija had on authenticating Muhammad's calling, yet nowhere in the Bible are pagan wives confirming any Prophet of God. The proofs against Islam on this issue are too numerous to cite, though I will if challenged.
By the 7th century, Mecca was located on a well traveled caravan route, so Muhammad's alleged illiteracy is a bad defense against charges of plagerism [Q. 68.15; 83:13]. Evidently, Muhammad was not the first to challenge the beliefs of his day. Ishaq records the names of four hanif poets who were opposed to the paganism is Mecca, and these men were no doubt early sources for the ayat of the Quran. Muhammad was only the most violent, and successful of his time. For more on the 'Hannifaya' please visit [ http://www.answering-islam.org/Index/H/hanif.html ].
As I pointed out, there are huge differences in the Biblical Gabriel and the Islamic Jabril. For example, the Islamic Jabril seems to be afraid of dogs [Bukhari 4.450]. The Gabriel of the Bible shows no such anxiety towards canines or creations of any kind.
Muhammad's suicidal thoughts are agreed to in Islamic history [ http://www.answering-islam.org/Silas/suicide.htm ] yet when we look at examples from the Annunciation to St. Mary an entirely different picture develops. She who is 'blessed among women' is so devoted that she sings a song to God her Savior whose name is Holy [Lk 1:47-55] and who delivers his lowly servant Israel. Are Muslims willing to admit that this teenage girl had more faith and soundess of mind than the 'rasool Allah'?
There are other marked differences found in the Gospel of Luke. For example, Elizebeth and Zecharias are called to be witnessess to the birth of Christ, and neither is so filled with fear that suicide becomes a viable choice. Same with Simeon [Lk 2:21-38], who prophesied that Jesus would be a light to the gentile world. Anna the Prophetess spoke of Jesus as he who would bring redemption to Israel. Suicidal fear was never their response.
I could obviously go on, and will if asked.
Interesting video!

@zanzbari Jesus Christ was visited by Satan and Jesus Christ defeated him where as Muhammad Satan defeated him, that is why he spoke about 3 god in the original Sura 53, killed thousands, had sex with a 9yr little girl, lied to his army about a carnal Paradise with virgins, wine All earthly carnal desires. Trustworthy look at what Jesus did and what Muhammad destroyed.

Man, you are fishing on murky woaters. Your whole argument is based unestablished reports. I read in your book (bible) that your lord Jesus was visited by devil himself!
"Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert to be tempted by the devil." (Mat 4:1).
As for Prophet Muhammad (may the peace of Allah be upon him), then he was the most trustworthy of his people, he was not known to lie.

Surah 3:3 says Quran is for Confirming the Gospel.
Sura 19:71 There is not one of you (believers) BUT shall approach it (Hell). That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. Sura 19:72 Then We shall rescue those who kept from evil, and leave the evil-doers crouching there. (Pickthal)
Obviously Surah 19:71-72 contradicts with
Luke 16:26 [Yeshua said] And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, in order that those who would pass from here to you may not be able.. [ESV]

Furthermore a prophet speaks for God and not for other prophets. One can see that Muhammad speaks for many other prophets more than for allah. The law on 2 valid witnesses shall apply to the message given by God to mankind. The message in the Quran failed to pass the test of coherency with the established words of God.

Yes, I agree with you here, 'just saying that it was doesn't make it true'. So very true. Words to live by.
