This is a quick segment on the pile driving being done for the new Christopher S. Bond Missouri River Bridge. This pile is for the falsework which offers temporary support for the roadway girders until the bridge is complete. Once the roadway is connected and each cable is in place, the falsework will be removed. In this segment, you will see a vibratory hammer drive the pile quickly into place. Tom with MoDOT provides some narration on the process.
