The interviewer knows his stuff--nothing wrong with how he sounds, Geez.
-
Look out for Bobby Debarge jr...he is talented!
-
@MrEverSoBad that's partially true...debarge DID have their issues before coming to Motown but Berry maybe a genius BUT HE'S NOOOOOO SAINT !
-
These kids were talented. What happened to them is what happens when you turn your back on God and figure you can be wordly and reap all the benefits. Coming from an unstable home didn't help either. They had no foundation to stand on when evil reared its head. My prayer is that they do make a comeback. No one has their sound. No one can duplicate it.

@whoseanb His voice does take some getting used to but you'll find all his interviews to be indepth - asking the questions you'd want to ask.
-
Agreed he sounds like another trashy Hip Hopper
-
@whoseanb, Yeah, he sounds like someone doing a bad stereotyped impersonation of an African-American.
-
that interviewer needs to quit talking about sampling ... Bunny clearly doesn't give a ^&*$ about it (as she shouldn't!!)
-
This interviewer sounds retarded!

Please do not blame Berry for what happened to them. I love DeBarge but I know better than that. Sometimes success does that to us as humans. No disrespect to your comment. Peace.
Berry Gordy took advantage of them by not giving them their publishing.

The only artist he looked out for was Smokey Robinson who's his best friend. Stevie Wonder fought to write and produce his own music and have his own publising as well as Rick James. Even Diana Ross left Motown in 1981 to gain control of her career and money.
