so this video is saying verbal child abuse is okay??? these guys are jerks. Just because verbal abuse is legal does NOT mean that is it right, espically to a child. It sounds like you guys got treated that way as a kid, so somewhere along the way you got the idea that that is normal.

So sometimes kids must see angry side of their dad or mom.

no need to be rude azerinewyork. Well i will raise my kids without verbal or any other kind of abuse and i'm sure things will work out fine, just as I was raised by my mother without abuse and I turned out just fine without getting screamed at like the little girl in this video did.

Of course children can be immature sometimes i agree but explaining to them why their behaviour is unacceptable and punishing them CALMLY and not in an abusive way is what teaches them to have character. If you discipline them in a bullying way they will learn to do the same thing to their younger siblings and someday to their own children.

There are many folks who got screamed at by their dad when they were too young to handle it and who just ended up being traumatized and growing up with a sense of fear and it didn't teach them anything good about being obedient who can back up what I'm saying.

I agree with you, that is a message to his daughter, he was really pissed, Child abuse is not ok, but people need to realize that a. spanking your child, or b. yelling at your child is NOT child abuse. Some people cross the line, yes, but this is not the same thing.
