This is a single from Nina Gordon's never released album Even the Sunbeams. There's a new-wave version of it on Bleeding Heart Graffiti, but it's not nearly as good. Actually, it's awful, which just goes to show that producers shouldn't strangle songs with backbeats and so forth.

  • Yeah,I love Nina-however you gotta understand that Aimee Mann has a lot to do with her solo sound, and Aimees producer-cause she sounds like Aimee a whole lot

  • I agree, but only when it comes to Gordon's acoustic versions of the songs. The versions on Bleeding Heart Graffiti are over-produced and have a Lisa Loeb FM sound to them.

  • Tu es magnifique

  • This song needed airplay, there is no comparison to Nina, she deserves to be worshipped for the greatness in her silky voice, love the song, are those music execs leaving her on the shelf or did they just crucify her by not pushing her albums..Nina the true fans know..Love ya

  • This is a very restful version of this song, I was very happy to hear it and will put it in my favorites, I disagree that Bleeding heart Graffiti had a Loeb FM quality to it, I think it is a better version than this one, but maybe cause i'm used to hearing that one instead, but Bob Rock did a great job on both for her. PEACE. mike

  • where does one find these acoustic versions? (on mp3 or the like)

  • hey thats the new river gorge bridge in this!...I love this song....I wonder if it has anything to do with her and Louise? I sort of think it does. I don't know. I know Louise did some songs about her on resolver.

Except they were sort of grrrrrr...

  • wow, awesome version of this song, I love it.

  • never heard this version. its very simple but nice.

  • I love this song. In fact one of my ex's sent me an email wanting us to get back together, so I sent this as a response lol
