DEFINITELY Keith on the solo here....
-
Keith sounds like he's playing his 59 Les Paul Jr here. No mistaking the sound of that P90 pickup.

How can a band be so good? Unbelievably good the Stones were in 1973. Awesome.

KEITH's solo; just like Honky Tonk Women; and yes always chuck berry like

This IS the best live version of this track out there. The lead solo is Keith, the style is more choppy and less fluid than MT, in addition to which the sharper tone of Keith's Strat is the same as his intro riff and other fills, whereas MT's Les Paul has that deeper mellow sound which drives the rhythm of this track. The studio version actually contains two simultaneous lead breaks, one overdubbed on the other, but Keith's is amped up by the sound engineer and is the signature break.

Definitely Keef on the solo. If you listen closely to the tones of the two guitars, you'll notices Taylor's rhythm never stops. Keef's tone also remains constant throughout the song including the solo. You can detect parts of the studio version which is also Keef.

@robin14669 Yea could be and it's a great solo for this song. It just doesn't sound like any other solo by Keith on this song from this tour. See Hamburg and Brussels versions.

@ApollosRevival It's sounds like Keith.

I WAS THERE ,I TAPED FULL CONCERT ,NOT GOOD QUALITY LIKE THIS ,THANX 4 POSTIN
Easily, that's EASILY, the best live version of this track that I've ever heard. It's no coincidence that Mick Taylor was still in the band then.

That is definitely a keef-style solo. Taylor was much more fluid in his solo style whereas Keef was choppy, Chuck Berry like.
