  • yes, ok, they don't hurt the cow... from the outside.. You don't wanna know how people make him/her crazy before it starts... The cow is very mad.. Stupid people, I can't think about 1 reason why they like this...

  • 1. There are lots of things wrong in this world!

    2. They are French!

  • @tonytiges

Apparently these are actually cows not bulls... and although it looks quite terrible... the cows are treated remarkably well.. and are not harmed in any way. All these people do is jump or dodge their charges.... Merci Beucoup

  • My comment They are French... was not a derogatory one. It means that these people are just performing in an event steeped in History throughout the South West of France. Cow Jumping is nowhere near as bad as Bull fighting.

Viva la France and all that !

  • I agree completely. Catttle don't naturally run around being angry and charging things like that. They are bred for agression, as well they are treated to enable it... I don't feel bad for anyone who gets gored.

No I am not a city slickin PETA freak, I'm an alberta country woman who's in the know when it comes to the treatment of cattle and horses for the purposes of redneck entertainment. People like to turn a blind eye cause it's easier.

  • By no means do I hate all french people for doing this. Cattle shouldn't be treated like this. Even if they aren't hurt most cattle are naturally placid animals. They shouldn't be riled up like this for pure enjoyment.
