Pattama registered with ESAR-VHP because of wanting to give back more to the community. She values her experiences in helping in disaster relief during Hurricane Ike in Houston. Her experiences have helped opened her heart and grow more than she could have imagined and has met incredible people along the way.
The Emergency System for Advance Registration of Volunteer Health Professionals (ESAR-VHP) is a federal program created to support states and territories in establishing standardized volunteer registration programs for disasters and public health emergencies.
