  • the most common cause of subarachnoid hemorrage is trauma.

the most common cause of SPONTANEOUS subarachnoid hemorrhage is rubtured berry aneurysim.

  • Thank you. Very interesting.

I had a sharp headache - quick onset .. went to doctor and was sent to hospital.

Had a CT scan and LP.

CT was ok...and CSF after LP was completely clear. They tested the CSF and it was ok.

Scary stuff... Glad they did these tests though.

Still no explanation to sudden headache.

  • My mother just had a spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage this past Thursday while she was at work. Her blood pressure was through the roof. How is it possible to have no aneurysm and no avm and have this happen?

  • thanks go on

  • @ifoson :s

  • Improve your accent buddy and be more short

  • I just want to say that you taught me a thing or two there. In 1994, my mother died from what the death certificate described as "anurism of the right posterior communicating artery". She was at home alone at the time and I don't know if she was in pain for some time or collapsed straight away. I tend to think that even if somebody was with her and had called emergency services, they wouldn't have been able to do anything. Thanks again.

  • Hi, 2 days ago, my Mother was diagnosed with 2 Subarachnoid Hemorrhages. I am untrained, and was looking on the internet for some information to help me and my family understand what was happening. Your video has helped with this understanding. Thank you very much.

    Kind regards from Derbyshire UK.
