Mk1 Escort V8 - Zakspeed Replica

After some issues with the engine (knocking out 5 & 6 big ends) and some issues with the tyres (blowing the near side rear due to rubbing under load) this is the car out again with new 245/35 profile tyres down from 45's. The exhaust is blowing slightly from the collector so it's popping and banging a bit at the moment.

The engine is a tuned 3.5 Rover V8 and there's plenty of space for it as it's sitting way back in the bay - only the ancilliaries i.e. water pump, oil pump and dizzy are in front of the cross member / steering rack.

It would be awesome to fit an original 500 plus bhp BDA but it ain't gonna happen on my budget :)
