it's cool but I must say you need to work on that backroud noise maybe a noise filter or try less distortion.

Nope it's D standard. Sounds best that way, and Hetfield even stated it in an article somewhere.

actually when they play it live the whole guitar is tuned down 1 1/2 steps. they play it in C# live. on the record the whole guitar is tuned down 1 whole step to D. it's not drop-d.
