In later seasons of the 4kids dub, rice balls were edited into sandwiches and other similar foods.

The only problem I had with the 4Kids dub of Pokemon was they skipped the episode where Ash catches 30 Tauros. That made me really confused on where he got them in the first place.

@chipan9191 Actually, it was Game Freak that changed Jynx to purple, not 4Kids (though I do see what made the haters are coming from since 4Kids changed Mr. Popo to blue). In G/S/C, Nintendo of America changed Jynx's face to purple because of the controversy. Nowadays, Jynx uses it's current design.

you forgot to factor in banned episodes like the legend of dratini and screw ups like jenny calling growlith arcanine at the pokemon league and such. for this i would give them a 2.5 for editting. still good for 4kids and they had a contraversy about jinx eventually making it purple... lame

They didn't mess with the story or editing too much but they did censor out a number of episodes. Because of this many American viewers were left wondering about Ash's thirty tauros that appeared out of nowhere. They also edited a number of small things, such as the rice ball to donught/cheesburgers you mentioned and at least twice they edited out Misty slapping Ash for being, well, Ash. IIRC they did not edit out the sound so you can still hear a "slap" in either the second or third episode.

Remember, KidsWB still had the management from the Animaniacs age, so DUH it was good! (then they fired him and everything went downhill) KidsWB had some influence over 4Kids, I think.
