It's quite simple - the was damaging superman even after he lost all of his health, and her long fighting moves animation allowed her to do so even after "transition" period from Round 1 to Round 2. This has triggered a memory glitch: game has remembered that Super Man's health at the start of the round was below zero (the growing health bar animation is just an animation) so as soon as round begun, Super Man was considered defeated.
