  • I would equally credit the carter family as well....if you get the chance you shuld look up jimmy rogers meet's the carter family...it's pretty funny... but man Jimmy was great!!! it's just so sad that he had to go so young...as far as modern country,I bet he would be like "what the hell is this stuff ya'll are calling country?", then he would go to a wayne hancock show. :-)
