So this blue freak dude is just posing as an omnipotent person, and he really is not, be cause he cant cure cancer. Basically what he can do is reform his body, and disassemble things and reassemble them. He is just a telepathic mechanic. Plus he is devoid of any human emotion as well. What a experimental freak.

this part of the movie signifies how the human race as a whole are slaves. slaves to time. had we no concern of time, watches would have never been made. if there were no watches he would not have gone back.
