To atheists: Consider that if a Christian's praying for you or preaching to you, it might be because they're a genuinely good person who thinks they're saving you from eternal hell-suck.Not always (sometimes they're just doing it out of obligation) but give 'em the benefit of the doubt.
To Christians: Consider that we all grew up surrounded by Christianity, and we've all heard the pitch. The Good News isn't exactly "news" to any of us. So if we say "no thanks", please accept it and move on.
Heather, your personality reminds me of my friend Alison. She's so quirky and fun, She's amazing and she's all about doing things that matter in life, things that ACTUALLY matter. Alison is an amazing girl, and she's also a believer in Christ. I will pray for you.
I'm sorry too. This person ticked me off also. I am not going to be presumptuous and state what gender they are. I also can't understand how people can be so blatantly stupid.
I didn't misunderstand anything you said. I can read a dictionary.
Evolution is a word used to combine all comparative scientific data. Please give me something for sure to believe is real. And don't give me your definition.
So...evolution has been proven by comparative scientific claims?...
"Also, you commit yet another logical fallacy. If you answer my argument with questions, that is called an appeal to ignorance." (The pot calling the kettle black) Where is your argument?
And to answer your "a 12 year old genius" comment. If you properly read the news on it, you'd know that he EXPANDED on the theory of relativity. That is how science works. You either expand on a theory, or you find a hole and scrap it.
For your second paragraph, I repeat; you compared science books to the bible. You compared theories backed by hundreds of thousands of facts with a book filled with fables, that is as credible as Harry Potter.

@diglightdig You argue that evolution isn't proven, but if you couldn't understand what I said earlier... do you even know what evolution IS?

@diglightdig you misunderstood what I said.
Comparative anatomy is animals being dissected and their inner structures categorized and compared with animals of other species.
Comparative physiology is about their inner chemical workings.
Comparative genetics is about their genetic makeup.
