THE NEIGHB'RHOOD CHILDR'N - CHOCOLATE ANGEL

The Neighb'rhood Childr'n are a psychedelic band originating from Phoenix, Oregon. During their early start, they were first known as The Navarros.

They later moved to San Francisco and
did multiple gigs and recorded a self titled album in 1968. They have opened for The Who and The Grass Roots. They can be compared to Jefferson Airplane, along with other more popular bands at the time. They later changed their name to White Horse, but disbanded in 1970 because they could not find a label that would release their second album.
A compilation was released in 1997 from them titled "Long Years in Space" and featured all songs from their first album and bonus tracks.

This cut was a trip. We needed one more song to fill the album so we did a 20 minute jam in the studio. The engineer then ran a bunch of tape, cut it, ran a bunch more onto the floor, stopped the tape and spliced the two ends together. Chocolate Angel was born. W*A*
