Garmin GPS Docking Station Xterra Frontier Pathfinder

700 series

Fully integrated into the dash, The Docking Station for Garmins Nuvi 750 portable GPS navigator easily folds down and out of sight when not in use. And with its built-in charger, your power outlets stay freed up for other things.

Fits the following models:

2005-2009 Xterra - Available in Dark Gray

2005-2009 Frontier King Cab and Crew Cab (NOT FOR 09 FRONTIER SE V6 / LE / PRO 4X)- Available in Dark Gray, Beige, and (W)Steel. (Choose Dark Gray for interior codes (K) Graphite, (T) Blue & (Z) Charcoal).

2005-2009 Pathfinder with S trim level- Available in Dark Gray (for interior code (K) Graphite), and Beige (for interior code (C) Cafe Latte).

The installation is very easy and any one with basic mechanical skills should be able to do it. The instructions come with the kit. You remove the change pocket on top of the dash and the housing fits there. That pocket pops out so no tools are needed to remove it. As far as the wiring, it is a one wire installation and even comes with a wiretap kit to get power.

  • Will the docking station fit a 05 Titan

  • does not fit the Titan dash

  • Where to buy it ..... ?

  • found mine on ebay

  • This docking station works with both the 6 disk changer and the standard cd player. Instructions are included for both.

  • hey, got an 08 Xterra Off Road. Got all the goodies except for the GPS. I really like your video, wish you made a video about how to put it in. I am scared to rip off the dash of my truck, i would hate to mess it up. Also, does the GPS voice run through the GPS or the speakers in the car.

  • The install is a piece of cake....there are literally only 5 screws to remove in order to gain access to the back of the radio. If it makes you nervous, Nissan dealers will do the work for about $125 in labor. Also, audio comes from the unit, but can be directed to your stereo speakers by FM signal with the 760.

  • hey banker6, question. what does the mount that holds the nuvi 7 series look like? I would like to put this in my new truck but I have a nuvifone G60 that I'll be using and it has a unique clip mount charging base that has three gold contacts and two prongs on either side of the contacts. is the 7 series mount replaceable with another type? can it be modified to charge another nuvi type? need to know before I blow some more money. thanks, DD

  • I'm wondering if anyone can reply and tell me if this will fit a 2011 Xterra?

    Thanks

  • Thanks for posting this video! Very nice

  • Can it be removed an taken out of docking right?

  • found one on ebay go on ebay and search Frontier gps

  • I love the technology, fyi before I bought I checked out gpssatnavreviews (.) com

  • can i use tomtom's?

  • excellent video. I am older but a long time nissan buyer, 02 x, 06 max, 98 altima, 96 hardbody, 95 altima, son 05 roadster, daughter 07 murano.. i will be buying an off road x later in the winter and with it i want to get the mount and buy the nav at best buy or somewhere other than nissan. is the mount and nav unit easy to wire and install for a non electronic person? i stress non tech person. thanks

  • Dumb question but....I'm looking at the docking station and directions doing s little pre-game and step 14 says "disconnect harness from housing assembly". To do that I have to remove the foam padding that is glued on right? It looms semi permanent so I don't want to damage it if I don't have to.

  • Great post. Just picked up a 780 and the dock today. Gonna attempt the install tomorrow night. Thanks for posting.
