I want to buy a f800gs but is it worth it with all the problems???

@bmws1000rrfan absolutely, the new 2010/2011 don't have the problems that the earlier models had. I would bike this bike again if you ask me. It's a great bike.

HEy getting a2012 GS, asking what you where for the cold i have no clothing for the cold i am buying some in the next 4 weeks, i knwo i need electric paints, i am fine with heated grips and just a winter jacket, the feet i dont know how long i can ride without heated shoes. my boots are heavy duty steel tips that are thick leather.

@flightestman Hi, in the winter I just use electric vest and two pair of sucks in road boots. Sometimes my fingers get cold, so if do another long fall/winter trip I would probably heated gloves, because headed grips will not do it in temperature around 32F and long hours riding. Love the video's, I found out recently it's bad to clean a chain with WD40 because it contains water, I was told to clean my chain with petrol and then relube, I also have about 25k miles out of my chain on my VFR, Although i have a scottoiler.

Ditto on BMW of Atlanta. I used to live in Roswell and they always did a great job servicing my R110RS. It’s too bad we don;t have such great dealers where I now live (cwntral FL coast)
