besides being uniform and precise in movement and somewhat exciting to look at what is the purpose of "drilling"? how does it serve in the overall scheme of the mission of the nation of islam?

Thank you for your comment. Drilling helps us to maintain discipline within our ranks, and it allows men and women to work together in harmony with one sound or command. This makes for effective movement, and helps us to achieve what many would deem impossible. Peace!

I think the same reason why it is done in the armed forces, it teaches discipline and unity.

nation of islam is a nation brother and the way your doing it is the only way you can really have an autonamous nation free from all the unwanted strings. keep the faith. i'm not muslim but i see results when i see results.
