  • This is one of the best video instruction I have seen for HTC Inspire. Bravo.

Where can I purchase this full LCD replacement parts?

  • @nkmmbb11359 Thank you! We have a direct link in the description below the video or find it in the DIY section on the PHONEDOCTORS web site.

  • Just a side note... the small flash housing for the inspire is stubborn, and can easily be chipped. If you are performing this repair use a safe pry tool, not metal. I have two word for you. HEAT GUN. Makes your screen removal a lot less destructive. Do the extra work and remove the logic board so you aren't cooking the board. You also didn't transfer the plastic light transfer studs for the menu buttons. Without them you cannot see the home, search menu and back buttons in the dark.

  • @chrisjsanford Thanks for your input Chris. A heat gun is not always an option for DIY repair, and removing the circuit board can easily cause damage to the flex cable. We've never had a problem with the buttons, but thanks for pointing that out. We'll keep an eye out for it on the next one.

  • @MrsCelesteMcCauley Best route: using a fine small drill bit, drill off the head of the screw until you can remove the casing/ logic board. Then using a pair of needle nose pliers remove the remaining screw from the part it is stuck in. These requires intense caution, and should only be performed as a last resort. One small slip of the drill bit and your phone is toast.

  • @jcd148 A side note to everyone here that is looking for the HTC light transfer studs, we have them available. These studs are used, from other phone models that have been sold to us by previous owners. To view the light studs, search for iphone repair in stockton, clicking on iphonerepairstockton and click on the phone services tab. Thanks for all your questions!

  • oh where do you get that pry bar thing?

  • @chrisjsanford what are you meaning the plastic light transfer studs? i am going to be doing this when my part comes so i like to know so i get everything right

  • hey my htc inspire got ran over.. i sent it to get fixed and they replaced my lcd screen and touch screen and it turns on and looks fine but the only problem is that when i try touching an app or to simply unlock my phone it wont respond, any one here know what the problem can be??

  • Phonedoctors

Great video like always. Do you have one of an HTC Vivid lcd screen replacement?

  • Can I just change my broke digitizer? Only digitizer bucase I don't have LCD, only digitizer.

  • So simple I've seen other videos and this is by far the best, you are a genius!

  • good right up and video, on a side note. extreme caution is to be had when placing the backplate back in. the flex cable is the most sensitive part of the whole operation. i had to take it apart several times and reset the cable just to get it to work. for a second there i thought my replacement screen was DOA.

  • Awesome guide, thumbs up
