  • I'm too fat. It puts too much pressure on my hips when the opponent puts his weight on me. :'( But just wait until summer! :D

  • try this on a pole, or spinning around a standing persons legs.

  • Two Ricardo De La Rivas black belts, Marcelo Grosso and Marcelo Montiero were trying to show us something similar to this back in 1999. The techniques were too advanced for us so they stopped teaching it in their classes. Glad to see the Jiu Jitsu in the U.S. has advanced to this point.

  • I love this transition, Ryan Hall is amazing at it, but it is hard to get reps in this with no prior experience, and without giving up your back. one day... ;(
