Clive James takes aim at the rock press, and in probably not coincidental particular a lot of names much like that of then NME writer Charles Shaar Murray, on Tony Wilson's Granada Television music show.

  • The Sex Pistols made their TV debut on this show that same month, and Clive James was so horrified, he never covered rock music again.

  • apparently, this is the same show that the Sex Pistols appeared on. The called Clive James 'a baldy old Sheila' and had a raging row with him in the dressing room.

  • I heard he was a bodybuilder in his youth, never realized it till I saw this video, his neck muscles are massively overdeveloped
