http://www.dilbert.com/animation by Scott Adams. RingTales presents Dilbert Animated Cartoons. Dilbert makes a call to tech support and Dogbert shares his time budgeting skills. In Tech Support Call, Dilbert says, Look, I have three computers in the house. All three simultaneously lost e-mail but not web function. That means the problem is in your e-mail service. Can you grasp that concept? Okay, Im re-entering my account information...Hey guess what? That didnt work either. In Time Management, Dogbert says, 'Chapter IV. Time Management. Always postpone meetings with time-wasting morons.' Dilbert asks, 'How do you do that?' Dogbert replies, 'Can I get back to you on that?'

  • It's not that they are airheads, they just have no power. They are allowed to only offer you "solutions" that do not actually involve doing anything except reading off a checklist.

  • hahaha that's funny calling tech

  • i like the comic more. the dilbert voice is kinda annoying...

  • @electrostatic1 Then what's the point of the existence of their job? This is why this field should be regulated, like all others. If your tech support sucks, you get a fine, or you have to offer a refund in exchange for the merchandise.

  • @aah040404

Laugh out out out out out out out out out out out out out out loud?

  • I’m not kidding, for over a month I was calling my internet provider telling them they had a problem with one of their servers. They basically said I knew nothing. Finally this one day they I had no service so I called to see what the problem was. “We fond some bad boards in one of our servers and are replacing them.” To which I yelled “Ah-ha! I’ve been calling in telling you about that for weeks!”

  • @jlauhn you know that more than half the time it's just to buy time. it takes around a minute or two for a fairly fast computer to start. that gives them some time to think what could be the real problem XD

  • good

  • Not always... could be a problem with your firewall/NAT blocking port 25 (smtp), 110 (pop) or 143 (imap). That or your ISP has just started rerouting port 25 and your outgoing email doesn't work anymore because it's not accepting authentication (because it doesn't need it when you used to need it on the original server). OBVIOUSLY :p

  • try Rebooting...that's what they always say!
