My daughter was born at 29 weeks, today shes 2 months old and has this harness put on at around 11am.. She cried all day long maybe a few breaks in between, its now 7-30pm and I had to take it off, she got a fever and could'nt bear to see her cry anymore. I will have to get a second opinion to see if her hips is really that bad. Not sure if this harness hurts her legs or she just misses kicking her legs. Now its off shes back to normal. Hope this turns out well

i wore a pavlik harness when i was a baby. both my hips were dislocated from birth. unfortunately i ended up needing a reconstructive procedure at 12 yrs old, then 2 more when i was 20 to fully correct my dysplasia. but as you pointed out, this harness usually works for the majority of infants who are fitted for them. i was the unlucky 10%. but if you notice any limping as she grows, get it checked as soon as possible to hopefully avoid what i went through. it's not fun.

My daughter had to wear a harness also right when she was born. She had a dislocated hip on her left side.She wore a harness for 5 months and now everything is normal and am glad she didnt need surgery. My daughter is now 8 yrs old. Now I am worried because her bones seem weak and fracture easily. she gets bone injures easily. She's had DDH when born, then at 6 yrs old she fractured her left arm and later on fractured her right hand. Now she has a growth injury plate on her right hip.

Hi! Its great to see your baby girl grew up strong and beautiful. I just had a beautiful baby girl and was diagnosed with DDH right after birth, she's been wearing the PH for 7 wks now. She has a flat hip socket, hopefully on our next visit at 8 wks should be corrected. How long did your baby have to wear the harness? Thank you for posting the videos, its inspiring and encouraging!

u hav to give size of a company or shop who make artificial legs or supports for orhtopaedic surgeons. they will make pelvic harness for u on the size provide by u of ur baby. regards.
