Minecraft- How to Install Mods

ATTENTION: IF YOU CAN NOT FIND MINECRAFT.JAR, FOR THE LOVE OF NOTCH, THERE ARE TWO THINGS THAT COULD BE HAPPENING:
1. It could simply be titled "minecraft" since you don't have file extensions enabled.
2. Your computer is from Hell and/or you've never played Minecraft on it before.

There are no other alternatives.

Hi, I am running on 1.2.3 version of minecraft and tried to install ObsidianTools 1.2.3. After installing Modloader 1.2.3 in EXACTLY the same way you did here, I then installed ObsidianTools the exact same way. When i ran minecraft the Mojang screen was up for about 10 seconds then the screen turns to black and closes. An error message does appear but it closes too fast for me to read it. Any help? Sorry for it being long i just wanted to be precise. Thanks

guys, be sure you have "Show Hidden Files" on. that always causes the problem.
