I've been giving some thought to the type of vegan diet I'd like to transition to after the juicing fast.

Tried the PALEO diet a while back, which turned not to be for me. It caused few flair ups with Gout. And if anyone has ever experienced Gout it's a mother.

I also followed the P90X nutrition guide and found that I was eating too much protein.

So, I came across a book The 80/10/10 Diet by Douglas N. Graham. Basically 80% of total calories should come from carbs (fruit & vegetables) and 10% each from fat and protein, It's a pretty good read. I'm actually rereading it now.

Then I found this guy, TheFruitarian, here on youtube and he talks about eating a mostly fruit diet, sort of like a modified 80/10/10 but it's 90/5/5, which spiked my interest

On the workout front, I'm leaning towards picking up Billy Banks new DVDs PT 24/7 The Ultimate Tae Bo in addition to TurboFire and for the days I can't get to the Gym.

  • P.S. Once you get further along in the fast, you might find the carrot/apple to be a little too sweet. I know I have.

    

  • Hey guy (what is your name!)...Thanks for the videos. Read "Eat to Live" by Dr. Joel Fuhrman...it is the best "diet" book I've read and that's saying a lot. I'm on Day 45 (I think) of 90+. Keep going! Can't wait to see your progress!
