An ad from the 1980's in australia for footy franks sausages. I am guessing this is from about 1980/1981, I am not sure.

  • And contributing to a lexicon of even modern footy. The 'Don't argue' is used to describe a fend-off to the face or upper body by a forearm or hand....as an example Dustin Martin of Richmond. The little icon on the pack showing the hand in the face has lasted longer than the company making these franks!

  • Footy Franks are frankfurts used for hot dogs. They are still around and this ad was probably shown in Victoria as it features the AFL....Aussie Rules. In NSW they fature the NRL or Rugby League.
