this song was played at the guy down the roads funneral he was all the kids dad he punished us and talked to us and did so much for us i was best friends with his daughter she is a year younger than me he shot himself when he found out he had cancer he didnt want all us kids to see he die a slow death R.I.P. buddy redd its been over 4 years and i still miss you

My parents are divorced, but they have a very great friendship! I love my dad so much! He is a great man, he has lived in an R.V. For FIVE years!!! But he still has hope and never gives up on finding a house so I can see him more! This song seems like IRS talking about my dad! I love you Daddy and I always will! :) (Yes I call him Daddy! To my dad. Would of been 89 yrs old.This song is so, like my dad. He worked in fiberglass most ly, and through the last yrs. You could sit beside him and smell it in his breath. .Dad didnt see nothing wrong with taking a "girl" fishing, and showed me how to work on my old car. He never had a lot to say, but when he did, you had better listen. He was a great friend, and the best father. I miss you dad. Happy Birthday!

This song reminds me soo much of my daddy, He passed away Friday July 15th, 2011, and he meant the world to me. I'm only 14 years old and it's harder than anything I've ever been through, and anything I ever will go through to watch him waste away to nothing in a hospital bed..
