I really want this toy, but I just can't find the justice to spend $200 on it. I hope Galvatron is next so we can have all the leaders from the cartoon as Masterpieces and to make one awesome display.

@JohnOpencho Hasbro will be releasing this figure in the US as just Hot Rod with no Rodimus Prime parts. They're also including a targetmaster gun. It should be much less expensive than the Japanese version. I picked up this one because Hasbro has a tendency to skimp out on die-cast and chrome parts. Plus, I like the Hot Rod to Rodimus Prime conversion.

as a takara MP figure it is bit disappointing at the quality of the figure itself. I have one myself and if you read online there are a lot of issues with this one. You need to take care when transforming him as well as putting him in the trailer mode as his wing can scratch easily. I like the figure, its a good display piece but the quality is not there. Its as if they were trying to get them out as fast as possible and skimped on QC. Get him if you have the $ or wait for the NA version.
