Insane asylum (Mental Hospital) in Athens Ohio. This is a slideshow of the trip I took to Athens, Ohio in August 2008. This is the Tuberculosis Ward at The Ridges which is the old insane asylum near Ohio University. It is actually now a part of Ohio University.

@xh00tx They give tours,and it might have been years ago,but they don't do it on Halloween because there would be too many people and it could call for more security/police to guard the doors because since O.U is the #2 party school believe it or not students will try to get in anywhere they can.

I went there n yes it is haunted, you half to sneak in late night, i have pics of ghost, def saw some crazy stuff there, there's a hidden part under the building that scared the shit outta me n my man, a bat was flying back in fourth then there was a black fig standing on the other side of the double doors

How were you able to enter the ward? I've gone there for the past two years for Halloween, and have never been able to get in.

@xh00tx well this was back in 08. I haven't been back since. The window in the main door was busted out. I'm sure it has been boarded up since then.
