This is a fairly old video of Luo Hong Yuan. There are more recent ones out there and you can see how much his form has progressed. He is trying right now to further develop the Chen internal system by incoporating Hao internals. It is quite interesting. If only someone would upload these videos...

Actually, this Master is Luo Hong Yuan, deciple of Luo Ji Hong. This is his younger days, but he is definitely a master if Taichi, even here. His favourite style is Hao taichi, and he has a tendency to use it in his chen form. Hao taichi is known to use the invisible spiral of the dantian, and this is why you can't see the internal movement. However, if you were to push hands with him, I assure you, you will know his internal power is great. Most masters would not last 5 seconds with him.

To Cont, I feel it's such a shame that Japanese swords are prize in their country as a work of art. Yet in China and Taiwan there are only a handful of Swordmakers who can make proper Chinese folded steel swords of the highest quality yet their work may be a dying craft if the martial act practictioners do not recognise the need to train with these weapons. In Romance of the Three Kingdoms , great shogans prize the most well made weapons and swords. They do not ride into battle with tin foil.

I am not arguing whether he knows his tai Chi, it's just that such tin foil never existed until recently in the pass 50 years. Ancient chinese swords were of the folded steel type of the highest qualit(historically the japanese sword making process was greatly influence by China). I afraid as martial artist do not practice with the real thing, the art of making proper chinese swords will be lost. Proper chinese folded steel sword weight less than 1.5KG will cut this tin foil in fist contact.

what is the definition of "MASTER"
It is the "mastery of the principles of taijiquan.
-
tin foil or real sword: not the issue. Its got nothing to do with authentic feel. The application of 5 taiji principles of
1. baihui (sie ling ting jing
2. sung kua tak kua
3. han siong pa pei
4. qi chern da tien
5. sie yongquan
Into form routine, mind intent from emptiness to explosive (fa jing) - u and weapon as one.
-
taijiquan is poetry in motion: what we see is only motion taking place.
-
Actually, I Am i Chen style Taiji Quan instructor with over 27 years of training. I have trained with some of the best in the world, including Grandmaster Feng Zhi Qiang of Bejing and many of his disiples.

karon,muzzman10 guys, from your views given, just show you know next to nothing about taiji quan.

I agree. Also, I don't see any internal movement. Taiji's supposed to be an internal art. Don't see it here. It's unfortunate that he titles himself master. His forms are pretty much empty.
Damn, this guy is good in his taiji.
