well death for humans is when spirit leaves the body. If jesus was God made man in the flesh I guess it would be the same. Which means he did not die. So there is no sacrifice at all.

@ArmenFirman01 no spritual death? the father did not sacrifice anything at all!

@KabaneTheChristian I don't see this as answering his question.

I agree it doesn't make sense at all.

In the eucharist, we partake of the sacrificed body and blood of Christ, bringing us into further communion of God, and making us more into his likeness. The fathers said that we are all created in God's image, but we must seek to attain his likeness.

And because Christ is God, we come into union with God. Because we are united with God (rather than Satan), He can then forgive our sins. The sacraments exist in order to heal us from sin. Hell is the state of being in the presence of God while in a state of sin. Heaven is being in the presence of God in a state of righteousness. In order to be healed of sin and become truly righteous and like God (theosis), we must partake of the medicine of immortality, the holy eucharist.

Christ was not punished by God in our place, satisfying some divine wrath. Rather, the sin of Adam and Eve separated the human race from God, the only source of life, and thus led to death. So, death took on God, but because God is the source of life, when God goes into death, death just becomes life. This is where the general resurrection of all humans comes from. Second, the forgiveness of sins comes about. By participating in Christ's sacrifice through baptism, we are united with Christ.

he whole Bible is a Hebrew book written for the Hebrew people but since God is just and very merciful he always allowed Gentiles to be saved in the same way the Hebrews were. Unfortunately the Christians have twisted this Hebrew message and the Jews kept blowing it.
If God is the trinity! What happend to the trinity when Jesus died. Did it become binity?
was God icomplete? if trinity could do without jesus for three days then he is not of vital necessity!

I don't think the physical death of Jesus would affect the trinity in any meaningful way. Presumably he would still have been spiritually alive and well. I guess I don't know how a Christian theologian would answer that...
