@Cortanaisatranny Promiscuity can be a healthy lifestyle choice, but it can also be a self-destructive act, or a misguided attempt at connection with others. You can see this in the statistics, which found a much greater level of promiscuity among those who suffered abuse.
-
Because promiscuity can be indicative of a lot of other problems, especially in young adolescents. Lack of supervision, impulse control, underage drinking, susceptibility to the influence of others. Having many partners by choice isn't a bad thing, especially in mentally healthy adults, but usually having a lot of sex at a young age is something done by teens who are starved for attention and affection and who have difficulty exerting self control.

Brilliant! Psychologist Alice Miller, author of "For Your Own Good: Hidden Cruelty in Child-Rearing and the Roots of Violence" and "The Body Never Lies: The Lingering Effects of Hurtful Parenting," among many other great books, is surely cheering somewhere!

@Cortanaisatranny The idea is that in a healthy state most humans desire and can accomplish significant and durable attachment. So while there are almost certainly going to be some hit and misses, 50 partners could indicate a possible "attachment disorder" your mileage may vary. An extremely low number of partners, or maybe none, might indicate the same thing.

Unfortunatly its only half of the true those studies must be more acurate and made by no brainwashed investigators and use only the scientific metod. Example but are more Promiscuity is a judgment of "moral" value we do not do that in science.

What's wrong with promiscuity? as long as your not cheating and your practicing safe sex i dont see anything wrong with having lots of sex

@steveaustin71 "An asshole kid is the direct result of an asshole parent."
Nononono - That is a ridiculously overgeneralised claim. The company the child keeps and the schools they go to are just as important as the influence of their parents. In fact, if they *maintain* a friendship with school chums their entire life; they'll be influenced more by those chums than their parents could ever hope to.
Parents are not wholly accountable. Children have their own lives, after all. =P

@steponroach "How would a man raped as an infant, days after birth, brain compare to that of a whole man?"
Lol. Did you just INSULT circumcision victims? :P
Circumcision has benefits, apparently. My brother was circumcised by order of a doctor in his teens. Theoretically, a painless, medicated circumcision (assuming there are only benefits to such an act if tools are properly sterilized/practitioners are competent/etc) wouldn't be such a horrid thing.
Theoretically. =P

I would love to see the study compare the brains of mutilated circumcised men, raped as babies to the blessed whole natural intact whole men whose first experience was love like their female counterparts.
How would a man raped as an infant, days after birth, brain compare to that of a whole man?
The 'random guy on you tube ' got his information from the ACE study...see the website he mentions in pt 1. He's passing on information from actual research.

@IAmPhotoBucket i realized that talking to kids is possible fear doesn't work i talk to my little brother with kindness and reacts very intelligent and nice towards me you have to ask them what they like. kids do fear having toys taken away, you have to show them that you won't use violence not even a little bit and kindness and they will follow your action believe me you need patience it works.
